Dalal Street investors had a wild ride during the first half of the year with the sensex, which after scaling 61k level in January plunged to the 51k mark within six months. The sensex is down over 10% in the first half of the year. It has lost over 5,000 points or about 9% to Thursday’s close at 53,019 in the last three months itself — its worst quarter since January-March 2020.
