BENGALURU: Dell Technologies president of international markets, Aongus Hegarty, has said enterprise customers in India and around the world are moving from asking for devices like PCs to asking for solutions.
“I was just with a major bank in India. They are clearly articulating it will be a hybrid way of working. So, it needs to be a solution that really is end-to-end and robust in providing that flexibility,” Hegarty said in an interaction with TOI.
Dell is a vendor of a whole range of devices including laptops, desktops, tablets, servers, and storage & networking products. Enterprise customers increasingly are interested not as much in these devices, as in how all of them can be combined, together with Dell’s own software, as also technology from partners, to create solutions for different needs.
Hegarty said customers want to know: How do you deploy the devices remotely? How do you ensure that those solutions are secure? That the employees can be productive and secure in that environment?
