Four of us were living in a flat oblivious to home security and access control systems until one fateful day when the flat next door was held up and robbed during the day by burglars! We were scared out of our wits fearing for our own safety and home security, knowing that the area we lived in was infamous in all of London and such incidents were bound to happen again. We decided to beef up our home security, but didn’t know exactly how. I am a salesperson, and my flatmates work as a tattoo artist and a customer care executive. One is a student who frequents the National Museum. So all of us had seen burglar alarms and access control systems but didn’t know that they could be used for home security for flats too!
