rbl bank: RBI names new RBL Bank CEO – Times of India

MUMBAI: Reserve Bank of India has approved the appointment of R Subramaniakumar as MD and CEO of RBL Bank for three years. A veteran banker with 40 years of experience, Subramaniakumar was the RBI-appointed administrator at the failed Dewan Housing Finance Corporation Limited (DHFL) overseeing the resolution process. The company was subsequently acquired by the Piramal group.
Prior to DHFL, Subramaniakumar was MD & CEO of Indian Overseas Bank.
The board will shortly put up his appointment before shareholders for approval.
