BENGALURU: The government had no outstanding loans with the central bank under ways and means advances in the week ended January 1, according to the Reserve Bank of India‘s weekly statistical supplement released on Friday.

State governments had Rs 5,569 crore ($760.27 million) loans from the RBI in the week ended January 1, compared with Rs 3,946 crore in the previous week, the release showed.
